Veridex provides automated AI-powered security assessments based on hundreds of technical and behavioral signals. Trust Scores are informational assessments and should not be interpreted as definitive factual statements. Users should independently verify important decisions before relying on any assessment.

What this means in practice

Six things to keep in mind about every Trust Score.

The Trust Score you see on a result page is a snapshot. Read these six points the way you'd read the back of a label — they're how we run the system and where the limits sit.

  • Trust Scores are algorithmically generated. Every score is computed by a fixed set of weighted server-side rules. There is no human review of the verdict — the rules do the work and the human keeps the call.
  • Results are based on technical indicators at the time of analysis. Scoring is offline: DNS, certificate state, sender authentication, an offline brand-impersonation list, and a lexicon of pressure language. There is no inbox pipe and no crawl layer.
  • Scores can change as new information becomes available. A Trust Score is a snapshot of the signals we saw at the moment of the check. The same input re-checked later, against a changed picture, can return a different score — and a clean score today does not lock in a clean score tomorrow.
  • Veridex does not guarantee accuracy. False positives and false negatives are part of the deal. We never claim something is "verified safe" — we claim we did not see the usual scam signals. The matched signals are surfaced in plain text so you can argue with the call.
  • Users remain responsible for their own decisions. Veridex is a second opinion, not a gatekeeper. The score, the matched signals, and the next step are guidance — the click, the reply, and the call to act are yours.
  • Veridex provides informational assessments only. Nothing on Veridex is legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. The Trust Score, the verdict, and the AI explanation are informational and should not be interpreted as a definitive factual statement.

Veridex never auto-blocks a message. It runs a fixed set of deterministic rules — every signal is a named rule a reviewer can argue with — and returns a Trust Score plus the red flags that drove it. The matched signals sit next to the verdict in plain text so you can see exactly which rule fired, and override the call.

Limitations we want you to know

Honest about what the score does not tell you.

  • Heuristic, not a guarantee. We don't auto-block anything. We tell you which rules fired and leave the call to you.
  • Weighted rule set, not machine learning. Every signal is a named rule with a fixed weight a reviewer can read and argue with.
  • No auto-block, no inbox pipe. The check reads what you paste; it is not connected to your mailbox or browsing history.
